Vision

The Ohio State University’s Forest Operations & Products Extension strives to effectively engage clientele in forest-to-market topics.  The program will conduct applied studies then share the knowledge gained; develop research-based educational programming and materials; plus provide technical assistance to Ohio’s citizens, forest industries, and communities regarding sustainable woodland utilization as well as the efficient use of materials. 

Mission

Our Extension program in Forest Operations & Products will offer producers and consumers of Ohio forest products educational opportunities through seminars, workshops, demonstrations, along with print and electronic media.  The technology transfer will assist in making informed environmental, social, and economic decisions.
